The proceedings of the â21st International Symposium LAPD21â will be published in JINST, Journal of Instrumentation. All invited speakers and accepted presenters (oral or poster) are encouraged to submit their original papers to this special issue.
Publication will be free of charge.
All submissions to the proceedings will undergo the normal peer-review process, in accordance with the rules of the journal.
Proceeding manuscripts submission opening will start the day of the abstract acceptance notification: 1st June 2025.
The deadline for manuscript submission is the 30th August 2025. This deadline, prior to the conference, is necessary to allow the reviewing process to start during the conference
Guidelines
Kindly notice that the number of pages should not exceed 8 pages for short oral talks/posters, 12 pages for Topical lectures, 16 pages for General lectures and no page lmit for Akazaki lecture.
When writing your contribution, in addition to the scientific quality and relevance of the subject matter, it is advisable also to check the quality of formatting, language and style (i.e. incoherent use of unit of measure; different conventions used in the same paper such as abbreviations \3 s”, \3 sec”, \3 seconds” and position: \3C”, \3 C”; poorly organized tables; etc.).

When your contribution is ready for submission, please follow the instructions below:
- Connect to jinst.sissa.it, register (if needed) and login;
- In the âSubmitâ section of the page select the link âsubmit a proceedings contributionâ
- Select the LAPD21 conference from the list;
- Follow the step-by-step procedure for submission, referring to the instructions available on the âFor Authorsâ help page.

In case of doubts, it is advisable to check with your institution (normally the library) about your internal policy and also you can always refer to the JINST Editorial Office; - Please let the Editorial Office know in advance if any of the figures included in your preprint is not original.
